A clear overview of what ZAEVINE processes through this website, why it is needed and what choices you have.
01
Who we are
ZAEVINE operates zaevine.com and is responsible for the personal information processed through this website. ZAEVINE is based in the Netherlands.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@zaevine.com.
02
What we process & why
When you contact ZAEVINE through the website, we process the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, optional company or publication, enquiry type, subject and message.
We use this information to receive, assess and respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to take steps you request in relation to a possible collaboration, licence or other agreement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling communications and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Required form fields are needed so we can understand and respond to your enquiry. Providing information through the contact form is voluntary, but without the required information we may not be able to respond.
Standard technical information, such as an IP address, request time and browser or device information, may be processed by the website infrastructure where necessary to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site. We do not use contact-form information for automated decision-making or profiling.
03
Sharing, storage & security
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only where needed to operate the website, deliver email, handle your enquiry, protect the service or comply with a legal obligation. This can include hosting and infrastructure providers and TransIP, which is used for ZAEVINE email delivery.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle and document the enquiry, any resulting relationship, and applicable administrative, legal or dispute-related requirements. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, it should be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, applicable data-protection safeguards are used where required by law.
04
Cookies & external media
ZAEVINE currently does not use advertising trackers, behavioural advertising technologies or analytics cookies to build visitor profiles.
Some content may be provided by an external service such as YouTube. On this website, YouTube video is loaded only after you choose to play it and uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once external content is loaded, that provider may receive technical information such as your IP address and device or browser information under its own privacy terms.
If the website later introduces analytics, advertising technologies or other non-essential tracking, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before those technologies are used.
05
Your rights
Under applicable data-protection law, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing and, where applicable, request data portability.
To exercise a privacy right, email contact@zaevine.com. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
This notice may be updated when the website or its data processing changes.
